This policy explains how Notebook accesses, stores, uses, and shares
data when you use the app.
What Notebook stores
Notebook stores the information you create, including notebooks,
entries, projects, statuses, to-do items, reminders, and recorded
timer sessions.
This data is primarily stored locally in the app’s on-device
database. Notebook does not require an account.
Notifications
Notification permission is used for entry and to-do reminders you
schedule, and to let you know when a timer reaches its planned end.
You can use the app without this permission, but system reminders
and timer alerts will not appear until it is enabled.
Sharing and backups
Notebook does not sell your personal data. App data only leaves your
device when you choose to export or share a backup.
An exported copy is under your control and is handled by the app,
service, or storage location you select.
Your control and deletion
You can delete notebook entries and their timer history in the app.
You can also wipe all notes from Settings.
Data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
Exported backups remain wherever you saved or shared them until you
delete those copies.
